Dr. Pedro Luis Ripoll Pérez De Los Cobos is considered as one of the best trauma doctors in Spain, according to Forbes Magazine, 2018. He has pioneered the introduction of arthroscopic surgery in Spain, starting the first arthroscopies in 1979. He is a Founding Member of the Spanish Society of Arthroscopic Surgery. Within the framework of this society, he has developed many pioneering research programmes on the speciality, which have been recognised with several scientific awards.
