Dr. López Gutiérrez specialises in Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Reconstructive Surgery. As well as being Head of Department at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital, he is also Head of the Congenital Vascular Defects Unit at La Paz Hospital (Madrid). He specialises in treating tumours and congenital vascular malformations, reconstruction of upper extremity malformations, giant birthmarks, neurofibromatosis, epidermolysis bullosa, large burns and paediatric trauma medicine.
