Dr. Isidro is a renowned specialist in orthopedic surgery and traumatology with more than 25 years of experience in the profession and with extensive training in bone and soft tissue tumors of the musculoskeletal system, and anthropological studies in Spain, Switzerland, the Republic of South Africa, and the United Kingdom. He has accomplished an important research work and has participated in 7 research projects and registered an international patent on prosthetic material, which is being commercially exploited by the company Aston Medical Developments.

He is Head of the Locomotor System Tumors Unit (UTAL) at Sagrat Cor University Hospital.

Furthermore, Doctor Isidro is recognized for his teaching activities, being currently an associate professor at the University of Barcelona (full accreditation by AQU), and Head of Studies at FSE. He is also the teaching director of undergraduate students at Sagrat Cor University Hospital in Barcelona.
