Referral unit by Spanish Health Minister for nerve, brachial plexus and neurortopedics disorders.

Dr. Casañas is the President of the Spanish Hand Surgery Society. He is a member of several committees in the European Federation in Hand Surgery, and Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

He has been invited for many years to give lectures in the US and abroad.
