Dr. Andrés Varela de Ugarte is a national consultant in thoracic oncological surgery. He has 30 yearsprofessional experience in the field of thoracic surgery and lung transplantation. His professional areas of interest are lung transplantation, oncological lung surgery, tracheal surgery and surgical correction of chest wall malformations. Dr. Varela has written over 200 publications in scientific journals and has given over 250 presentations at national and international conferences.
