Sleep apnoea surgery is only recommended after having tried other non-surgical treatments. This form of surgery may involve removing or reducing some tissue, relocating the maxillary bone, implants, hypoglossal nerve stimulation, a tracheostomy, and other aspects. The patient's conditions will determine the treatment proposal set out by our doctors.

This pathology is managed by an interdisciplinary team who offer alternative solutions to CPAP machines, such as mandibular advancement devices (MADs) or orthognathic surgery. Occasionally, orthognathic surgery for maxillomandibular advancement and rotation is offered as the definitive solution to correct this disorder.
